The agreement aims to promote insurance, sports, cultural activities, and community development between Vietnam, Thailand, and the broader ASEAN region.
The event marked a significant meeting between two influential women leaders: Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Vietjet's President, and Nualphan Lamsam (Madam Pang), CEO of Muang Thai Insurance and President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT).
Under the cooperation, Vietjet and Muang Thai Insurance will jointly implement insurance initiatives across Vietjet Group's flight network. Both parties will also promote youth football development, cultural exchange, and international promotion of Vietnam-Thailand's image. In the coming period, Vietjet and Vikki Bank are expected to collaborate with ASEAN United FC, a major regional football tournament, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, connecting hundreds of millions of Southeast Asian fans.

Madam Pang expressed her delight in partnering with Vietjet Group to enhance passenger protection through travel insurance solutions, while also exploring broader insurance cooperation opportunities. "Beyond the cooperation opportunities between our two organizations, I also sincerely thank the Vietnamese people, especially football fans, for always giving me a warm welcome and friendly affection whenever I visit Vietnam," Madam Pang said.

More importantly, this cooperation extends beyond business to encompass sports and social community development – areas where both organizations share genuine interest and a common vision. The partnership is expected to combine aviation, football, and community activities to elevate ASEAN's image on the international stage.
The Vietjet Thailand joint venture, with nearly 1,500 Thai employees, exemplifies the friendly cooperation between the two nations. The airline currently operates 22 aircraft, including 10 new-generation Boeing 737-8 aircraft, and has become increasingly popular among the Thai people as a part of modern life.
Over the past 10 years, Vietjet has supported Vietnamese football and futsal through various sponsorship activities, community sports development, and national team support.
In Thailand, Madam Pang, the first female President of the FAT, has contributed to promoting youth football, women's football, and the professionalization of the Thai League with her positive energy and passion for sports.
