The export shipment to Japan on the morning of 18/6 consisted of one 20-foot container. The company expects to maintain a pace of 2-3 containers per month in the initial phase, depending on market demand and production capacity.
According to Mr. Truong Chi Thien, General Director of Vinh Thanh Dat (VFood), the company spent nearly two years collaborating with Japanese partners to finalize the product. This process covered everything from the formula to quality control procedures and export documentation. The product was also adjusted to suit Japanese consumer tastes, with support from experts in Japan.

This export to Japan comes as the domestic poultry egg market faces oversupply pressure. Increased supply, coupled with consumption that could not keep pace, has led to a sharp decline in egg prices and related products recently, causing difficulties for farmers and businesses.
In this context, opening an export market represents a significant effort by the company. This initiative aims to secure more stable market outlets for processed egg products and alleviate domestic consumption pressure.
The company stated its future direction involves expanding deep-processed egg products if market conditions are favorable. This strategy will diversify market outlets and increase added value for Vietnam's poultry egg industry.
Vinh Thanh Dat Food Joint Stock Company is a leading enterprise in the industry, holding approximately 20% of the poultry egg market share in TP HCM. VFood maintains an extensive procurement and distribution network with farms in the Eastern and Western regions, supplying numerous domestic supermarkets.
