The Vietnamese Embassy's Trade Office in Singapore announced the launch today. This platform, a joint initiative between Vietnamese tech company Arobid and its partner Ecohub, was developed as part of the 2025 Vietnam-Singapore Sustainable Trade and Innovation Forum.
According to Tran Van Chin, Chairman of Arobid, the platform uses AI, big data, 3D exhibitions, and support tools like Aro-Uni, user behavior analysis, and a partner alliance portal to help businesses accelerate their digital and green transformation.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Singapore Tran Phuoc Anh stated that this platform is a key tool in achieving the goal of $30 billion in bilateral trade by 2028. He believes it's not just a digital tool but a sustainable startup ecosystem.
"In the global economy, digital trade is no longer a choice but a necessity. This platform makes trade faster, smarter, greener, and more equitable," he said.
Mr. Phuoc Anh noted that Singapore is currently the second-largest investor in Vietnam, with over 4,000 projects and a total capital of over $86 billion. Bilateral trade last year reached $23.5 billion. The Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) system is expected to expand to 22 parks, aiming for a smart and sustainable industrial model.
Ho Chi Minh City aims to become an innovation hub. However, according to Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association (HUBA), many businesses still face difficulties in meeting international standards like the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. This digital trade platform can help them access technology, supply chains, and green standards from Singaporean partners.
Mr. Hoa expressed his hope that Vietnamsgp.arobid.com will effectively connect over 20,000 member businesses of HUBA (Vietnam) and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), while also initiating a series of online trade promotion activities between the two countries until 2026.
Sharing this view, Phung Thi Ai Van, founder of Ecohub, believes Singapore's experience in low-carbon supply chains and smart logistics is a valuable resource for Vietnamese businesses to upgrade their export capabilities.
