Established in 2020 with a charter capital of 700 billion VND, Vietravel Airlines operated its first commercial flight in 1/2021. With the goal of building a tourism-focused airline, Vietravel Airlines has continuously expanded its trunk routes, connecting key tourist cities domestically and internationally.
This year, the airline plans to add routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa, reinstate the Hanoi - Nha Trang route, and launch charter flights from Hanoi to An Huy (China).
By 2030, Vietravel Airlines aims to increase its fleet size to 30-50 aircraft, with a network covering Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and some destinations in the Middle East. In addition to passenger transport, the airline plans to expand into air cargo, ground services, warehousing, and aviation technology. This operation is part of T&T Group's strategy to build an aviation-logistics-infrastructure ecosystem.

As a strategic shareholder, T&T Group not only provides financial support but also guides Vietravel Airlines to become a crucial link in an ecosystem that includes airports, aviation industry complexes, airport cities, logistics, and transportation infrastructure. This helps the airline gradually master the operational chain, from operations and ground services to technology, maintenance, and aircraft repair, creating a long-term competitive advantage.
Vietravel Airlines benefits from infrastructure connections with projects such as Quang Tri Airport, the Quang Tri Airport City – Aviation Industry Complex, Quang Ninh Port, the Vietnam SuperPort smart logistics center in Vinh Phuc, and the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway. The airline plays a central role in an integrated value chain from passenger transport to air logistics. This also helps Vietravel Airlines expand its operational scope and gradually approach a comprehensive operational model.
