Vinafco unveils new strategy in the 'age of AI'

Vinafco announced its new business strategy focused on digital transformation and AI application at the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (Vilog 2025) on 1/8. The company aims to drive sustainable development in the logistics sector.

At Vilog 2025, Vinafco Joint Stock Company announced a comprehensive change in its business strategy. According to a company representative, this move is a response to the increasing demand for digital transformation, operational optimization, and green development in the logistics industry.

The company is restructuring its organization and implementing a 3P salary system for greater professionalism, transparency, and efficiency in internal management. These changes in personnel, structure, and strategic planning are expected to create a foundation for the company, repositioning Vinafco's role in a modern, dynamic, and socially responsible supply chain.

Vinafco aims to provide integrated logistics services and superior supply chain solutions, applying digital technology and committing to sustainability to meet diverse customer needs. The company is focusing on investing in digital transformation, improving customer experience, and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into all its operations.

Bui Minh Hung, general director of Vinafco, said the pressure to innovate comes not only from the market but also from the company's internal need to address the limitations of traditional business models. "In a volatile market, if we don't innovate, we will lose our position. We consider technology, connection, and social responsibility to be the three pillars that make up our new identity," Hung said.

To realize this repositioning strategy, Vinafco is implementing specific actions: from issuing its first ESG report based on international GRI standards, integrating ESG standards into its entire operating system, to investing heavily in comprehensive digital transformation.

The company is applying AI technology to core activities such as route optimization, inventory forecasting, and data analysis for real-time understanding of customer needs.

Vinafco is completing its digital ecosystem by developing and upgrading software to optimize operations for its four core services: sea freight, warehousing, trucking, and international freight forwarding. Based on market demand analysis, the company is also expanding services such as fulfillment and cold chain transport to flexibly meet the needs of each customer group.

At Vilog 2025, Vinafco showcased its comprehensive ecosystem of services, from warehousing and multimodal transport to supply chain management solutions. The system is built on nearly 40 years of experience and a customer-centric development orientation, applying modern technology.
