Vinamilk's 50-year journey showcased at national achievements exhibition

Vinamilk showcased its leading technologies and journey to becoming one of the world's most valuable dairy brands at the National Achievements Exhibition from 28/8 to 5/9.

The National Achievements Exhibition, commemorating 80 years of National Day, was themed "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness". The exhibition, spanning nearly 260,000 m2, was the largest of its kind to date, with participation from 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and over 230 booths from 106 state-owned and private enterprises. The exhibition space featured modern design, combining artifacts, images, and historical documents with digital technology, 3D mapping, virtual reality, holograms, and artificial intelligence applications, offering a novel experience for the public.

Vinamilk had two booths at the exhibition, showcasing its notable achievements over nearly half a century.

A technological mark on the dairy industry

The two Vinamilk booths carried the message "Vinamilk: 50 years pioneering, elevating Vietnam - reaching the world", reflecting the brand's journey of growth alongside the nation's development. The company also presented its efforts in enhancing nutrition for Vietnamese people through products that combine natural ingredients and scientific advancements.

In the "National Founding Entrepreneurship" section, which honors the role of the private sector, Vinamilk introduced its technological breakthroughs and achievements alongside the country's development. A highlight was the demonstration of the dual vacuum suction technology that "locks in freshness" of natural milk, applied for the first time in Vietnam. This technology removes almost 50% of free oxygen radicals, preserving the flavors of 20 types of grass and flowers from the cows' diet at Green Farm.

According to the company, this technology contributes to the success of Vinamilk Green Farm - a fresh milk product line that has won leading international awards for taste, safety, and purity, including the Gold Award - the highest certification from Monde Selection, the Superior Taste Award, and the Clean Label Project from the US.

The booth also featured an interactive game area where visitors of all ages could learn about nutrition and Vinamilk products. A photo "check-in" corner, designed with the theme of 80 years of National Day and offering thousands of gifts like tote bags, mugs, and Vinamilk products, attracted many young visitors.

Vinamilk also offered about 101,000 products for attendees to sample directly, ranging from fresh milk and plant-based milk to ice cream, in the "Radiant Vietnam" exhibition area. The company's booths in the two exhibition areas were expected to attract 80,000-120,000 visitors throughout the event.

Marking Vietnam on the global dairy map

In August, Vinamilk was ranked as the world's most valuable dairy brand by Brand Finance (according to the "Food & Drink 2025" report). It became the only Southeast Asian company in the top 10 most valuable dairy brands globally. Vinamilk also propelled Vietnam to the top 5 countries with the highest contribution to the dairy industry's brand value, surpassing both the US and Finland.

2025 also marked the first time Vinamilk received an AAA+ rating, the highest on the brand strength scale.

According to the 2025 Private 100 ranking, which recognizes private enterprises with tax contributions of 100 billion VND or more, Vinamilk holds the second position in the food and beverage (F&B) group, contributing significantly to the state budget and accounting for 70% of the entire dairy industry's contribution. Since its equitization in 2003, the company has contributed over 98,300 billion VND to the state budget, including tax payments and dividends to state shareholders.

Vinamilk's journey began in 1976, as the country entered its post-reunification reconstruction phase. Starting from scratch, the company successfully restored three dairy factories, produced its first batches of milk, and steadfastly pursued its mission: to make high-quality nutrition a right for children across the country.

As Vietnam embraced international integration, Vinamilk joined the movement. The company pioneered in bringing Vietnamese nutrition to the world with its first powdered milk export to the Middle East in 1997. Today, the brand is present in 65 countries, offering a diverse product portfolio including liquid milk, yogurt, condensed milk, and specialized nutritional products.

A Vinamilk representative affirmed that the brand will continue its journey of raising quality standards and conquering the most stringent international benchmarks.
