VinFast launches marketing idea contest

The contest, "building a green Vietnam," aims to promote eco-friendly transportation and enhance brand recognition. It began on 18/8.

VinFast is inviting participants to develop marketing ideas that promote green transportation through its environmentally friendly vehicles and strengthen the VinFast brand both in Vietnam and internationally.

The contest is open to all Vietnam residents regardless of age or profession. Individuals or teams of up to 3 people can participate. Student teams from universities specializing in economics, communications, and technology are particularly encouraged. Participants under 18 require parental consent.

The contest started on 18/8. Participants can submit their registration information and entries via email by 21/9. Multiple entries are allowed, and the organizing committee will confirm their validity via email.

The preliminary round, from 22/9 to 4/10, requires written submissions (maximum 2 pages). Optional PDF or PowerPoint presentations (maximum 15 pages) can analyze the industry context, present ideas, propose implementation plans, estimate costs, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).

30 entries will advance to the semi-final round (6/10-13/10), requiring video presentations (maximum 15 minutes) to illustrate implementation, creativity, and value. 10 finalists will then present and defend their ideas before a panel of industry experts, VinFast representatives, and Vingroup executives. The final round and award ceremony are scheduled for 26/10.

The contest offers prizes worth over 630 million VND, including a VinFast VF 3 electric car (grand prize), a Theon S electric motorbike (first prize), and other prizes like Vento Neo, Feliz Neo, and Motio vehicles. Duong Thi Thu Trang, deputy general director of global sales at VinFast, stated, "Through this contest, VinFast aims to discover commercially effective campaigns that inspire and create positive change for the community,".
