Vingroup leads private sector in tax contributions

Vingroup contributed 56,200 billion VND, nearly 40% of the total state budget contributions from the top 10 leading enterprises.

Vingroup's contribution accounts for 23% of the total state budget contributions from the top 100 companies ranked in the Private 100 list published by CafeF. This is the second consecutive year the Private 100 list has been published, based on actual tax payments in the 12-month fiscal year.

In addition to its substantial tax contributions, Vingroup is Vietnam's largest private multi-industry conglomerate, ranking among the nation's top corporations. As of 30/6, Vingroup's total assets reached 964,439 billion VND. Its consolidated net revenue and profit after tax for the first half of the year were 130,366 billion VND and 4,509 billion VND, respectively.

Vingroup's two core business areas, technology-industry and commerce-services, have both experienced significant growth. Vinfast stands out in technology-industry, having delivered 72,167 electric vehicles globally in the first six months of the year, tripling the figure from the same period last year. In Vietnam, Vinfast leads the automotive market with 67,569 vehicles delivered and set a new record in the motorcycle market with 114,484 electric motorcycles reaching customers.

In the commerce-services sector, Vinhomes maintains its leading position in real estate with recorded sales of 67,504 billion VND and unrecorded sales of 138,208 billion VND as of 30/6. Vinhomes was also the largest contributor to the state budget in 2024 within the real estate sector, according to the Private 100 ranking.

On 11/8, the group announced the addition of two new business pillars: infrastructure and green energy, opening up further growth potential.

Moreover, Vingroup makes significant contributions to society through its social philanthropy pillar. In August, the group's Thien Tam Fund was awarded the First-Class Labor Medal, recognizing its 19 years of continuous philanthropic work with a total disbursement of 30,000 billion VND.

On 19/8, Vingroup was also awarded the First-Class Labor Medal for completing the National Exhibition Center 15 months ahead of schedule, contributing to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country.

"Continuously receiving state awards and topping numerous prestigious rankings demonstrates Vingroup's growth potential and social responsibility, affirming the group's effective and sustainable development orientation," a Vingroup representative said.
