VEFAC is a subsidiary of Vingroup, with the group owning over 85%. The company is also the investor of the new urban area in Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi, and Mai Lam communes, Dong Anh district (trade name Vinhomes Global Gate). This project spans over 261 hectares and has a total investment of nearly 34,880 billion VND.
In March, VEFAC received approval from the Hanoi People's Committee to transfer 75 hectares of land designated for high-rise and low-rise housing, mixed-use buildings, and commercial public spaces within the Vinhomes Global Gate project to Thoi Dai Moi T&T. The transfer price for this land is approximately 30,360 billion VND, equivalent to over 87% of the project's total investment.
In the first three months of the year, VEFAC recorded a revenue of 44,560 billion VND, 222,000 times higher than the same period last year. This quarter's revenue surged due to the partial transfer of the Vinhomes Global Gate project, while in previous quarters, the company had almost no revenue. After deducting expenses, the company's pre-tax profit reached 18,605 billion VND, 163 times higher than the same period last year.
