This agreement aims to open direct access channels to all customer segments in the world's most populous nation. Vinpearl's three partners are key market players in India, each possessing distinct strengths. Thomas Cook India focuses on large-scale group tours, corporate clients, and MICE tourism. SOTC Travel specializes in family travel, group tours, and mid-to-high-end resorts. Meanwhile, MakeMyTrip is a leading online travel platform, with a significant advantage in reaching younger demographics and independent travelers through digital services.
Vinpearl representatives believe the company's "all-in-one" ecosystem is particularly well-suited to the needs and habits of Indian travelers. With 60 facilities nationwide, Vinpearl offers a comprehensive chain of 5-star services, including accommodation, dining, entertainment, golf courses, and international convention centers. These amenities effectively meet the needs of large groups, multi-generational families, or MICE groups seeking diverse experiences within a single itinerary.
Ms. Ngo Thi Huong, General Director of Vinpearl, affirmed that India is a key market in the company's internationalization strategy. Partnering with these leading companies not only expands market access but also enables the company to proactively develop products tailored to the specific tastes of each segment. "Vinpearl expects to increase its presence in India, while also contributing to making Vietnam an attractive and distinct destination on the global tourism map," Ms. Huong stated.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Anubhav Bansal, Vice President of MakeMyTrip, believes Vinpearl is playing a significant role in positioning Vietnam's appeal to Indian tourists. He emphasized that the scale and diversity of the Vietnamese company's ecosystem are well-suited to modern travel trends.
