VPBank celebrates 32nd anniversary with customer promotions

VPBank is offering various promotions, including iPhone 16 giveaways, 50% cashback, Urbox e-vouchers, and bonus interest rates on savings accounts, to celebrate its 32nd anniversary.

The bank is giving away iPhone 16s to the first 10 customers with a total VPBank Mastercard credit card spending of 50 million VND on 15/8. New credit card customers who spend 3 million VND within the first 30 days will receive an Urbox e-voucher worth up to 700,000 VND. VPBank Yolo Visa Platinum cardholders who spend 2 million VND within the first 30 days will receive 5,500 SkyPoints.

Throughout August, VPBank is running the "Super Interest" program on the VPBank NEO app, lowering the minimum balance requirement to 0 VND for all customers. The program is divided into three phases: 12-14/8, 19-21/8, and 26-28/8. Customers need to activate the program and set their desired balance threshold within the app.

From now until 21/8, customers depositing at least 32 million VND for a term of one month or more will receive an additional 0.5% annual interest if their name is Viet, Nam, Thinh, or Vuong, or if their birthday is 12/8 or they were born in 1993. An additional 0.32% annual interest is offered for deposits of 100 million VND or more.

To kick off its 32nd-anniversary celebrations, VPBank hosted a concert at My Dinh National Stadium featuring G-Dragon and other South Korean artists, attracting over 40,000 attendees. The event, widely shared on social media, is seen as a strategic move to reposition the bank as youthful and modern, targeting Millennials and Gen Z.

VPBank pursues a segmented market strategy focusing on personalization, differentiation, and sustainability. The bank caters to young customers with its Prime segment, affluent customers with Diamond and Diamond Elite, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals with Private. VPBank develops tailored credit cards to suit individual needs and lifestyles, building a comprehensive rewards program that allows customers to enjoy convenient payments and modern living. After over a decade of serving business customers through a dedicated channel, the bank has expanded this segment under the name CommCredit.

This segmented approach helps VPBank expand its market share and build lasting customer relationships. VPBank is currently a market leader in credit card issuance and spending volume.

The bank also inaugurated a new flagship branch in Hanoi, continuing its digital transformation and enhancing customer experience.
