Beyond financial benefits, the VPBiz card assists businesses in standardizing tax procedures, especially with the 2024 Value Added Tax (VAT) Law taking effect from 1/7. Under the new regulations, any expenses, regardless of value, not paid through cashless methods will not be eligible for VAT deduction. This encourages businesses to adopt transparent spending methods that are easy to control and provide auditable documentation. With the automated statement system, each card transaction is itemized, providing a valid basis for businesses to complete their tax records.
In addition to transparent cash flow, the VPBiz card helps businesses improve internal management. It allows for the allocation of expenses by department or specific purpose. Businesses can issue multiple cards to individual staff members with spending limits, access rights, and separate reporting authorizations. Each card is tracked independently, making it easier for accountants to reconcile data, generate financial reports, and prepare tax settlement documents.
For e-commerce businesses, VPBiz also offers the ICCP virtual card, allowing for the creation of unique payment codes for each transaction, enhancing security and control during online operations.
A VPBank representative stated that VPBiz is designed as a comprehensive digital financial platform, not only serving payment needs but also helping businesses operate flexibly, optimize costs, and enhance competitiveness.
In the near future, VPBankSME plans to launch more international brand cards such as Visa and JCB, along with specialized cards tailored to specific industries, to expand the range of cashback-eligible expenses and provide more options for businesses.
