For investors and franchise partners, VPBank and Beta Media plan to introduce credit packages in 2026 to support the establishment of cinema complexes under the Beta Cinemas franchise model. These packages will cover investment, operational, and financial management aspects.
Additionally, the two parties will co-organize a series of workshops to share knowledge on the cinema franchise model, investment experience, financial management, and operations. VPBank will serve as a financial solutions consultant, while Beta Media will share practical experience regarding content and the Beta Franchise investment model. This initiative aims to build a sustainable investor community with robust financial and business strategy preparation.
The two parties also agreed to implement the Shop Thinh Vuong application experience across Beta Cinemas' platforms. This financial management solution, designed for business households and shop owners, is integrated into the VPBank NEO app. It enables managing revenue and cash flow, tracking reports via ShopQR, sharing balance fluctuations, and supporting automated profit generation, thereby helping business owners operate efficiently and access capital more easily.
Furthermore, VPBank and Beta Media will collaborate on communication, training, and product promotion activities to enhance brand recognition and disseminate the value of their partnership.
For individual customers, the two parties are launching several promotional programs. Specifically, Beta Cinemas customers who open a new payment account at VPBank and make at least one transaction of 50,000 VND or more in the account-opening month will receive a movie voucher for Beta Cinemas. They will also be designated as VPBank Prime members, entitling them to policy-based privileges.
Additionally, VPBank's individual and SME customer segments are involved in the cooperation project, with a focus on personalizing, digitizing, and simplifying financial solutions for customers within the Beta ecosystem.
A VPBank representative stated that the partnership with Beta Media is part of its strategy to expand its partner ecosystem, aiming to integrate financial services more closely with the consumer, entertainment, and investment needs of the public.
"Through this partnership with Beta, VPBank expects to deliver convenient experiences, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of the customer community in the digital era", a VPBank representative emphasized.
Bui Quang Minh, Chairman of Beta Group, commented that the partnership is not only commercial but also reflects a shared vision for socializing film investment, making entertainment services more accessible to people in many localities.
"Leveraging financial resources from VPBank, Beta expects to complete the most important piece of its partner support ecosystem, helping investors in many localities realize their dream of owning a cinema", the Beta Group Chairman stressed.
VPBank is a commercial joint-stock bank operating in Vietnam since the early 1990s. The bank currently provides financial services to individual and business customers, with a focus on retail and small and medium-sized enterprises. In recent years, VPBank has accelerated the development of digital products and services and expanded partnerships across various sectors.
In 2025, the bank was recognized for the second consecutive time in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking, securing the 87th position among the 500 largest revenue-generating enterprises in Southeast Asia.
Beta Group is an entertainment conglomerate active in film, entertainment, and creative services, founded by Bui Quang Minh in 2014. The company is recognized for its Beta Cinemas network, which spans many localities and targets the mass market segment. Beyond cinema operations, Beta Group also engages in film production and distribution, and was among the first to implement the cinema franchising model in Vietnam. The group also invests in creative entertainment projects, supporting new ideas and young talents within the cultural industry.
The signing event occurs amid a growing demand for the integration of finance with consumer and entertainment sectors, particularly among young customers, individual investors, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Leveraging their existing strengths, VPBank and Beta Media anticipate that this partnership will generate synergistic value, expanding the scope of financial service experiences integrated with daily life.
