According to Wilmar Marketing CLV, the official distributor of Royal Canadian potash in Vietnam, this shipment marks the next step in their plan to expand their distribution network. Their goal is to provide a reliable supply to the central coastal and central highlands regions, meeting the demand for potash during peak seasons.
Previously, the company also successfully delivered Canadian potash directly to northern Vietnam. In addition, Wilmar Marketing CLV regularly engages in activities to support farmers in improving crop yields and quality.

The central highlands and central coastal regions are important agricultural areas, home to various high-value industrial and fruit crops such as coffee, pepper, and cashews. These crops require significant amounts of potash, one of three essential nutrients for overall plant growth, quality, and yield improvement.
In coffee plants, potash increases the two-bean fruit ratio and bean weight, thereby increasing coffee yield and quality. For rice, it promotes strong stems and upright leaves, preventing lodging, enhancing photosynthesis, and boosting pest and disease resistance, which contributes to increased rice yield and quality.
In sugarcane, potash improves sugar accumulation, enhancing the quality of raw sugarcane for the sugar processing industry. Adequate potash application helps reduce investment costs, improves crop yield and quality, and increases the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in the international market, creating opportunities for higher farmer incomes.
