The "Vietnam Investment Promotion Seminar - Woori Bank Accompanies You" took place on 11/9 in Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The program was jointly organized by the bank, the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea.
The seminar aimed to help South Korean SMEs and investors seeking development opportunities based on new technologies and planning global market expansion to access the Vietnamese market. A Woori Bank representative said the event took place amidst increasingly vibrant economic cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, especially after the summit between the two countries.

The seminar was attended by experts from various fields: the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Jipyong Law Firm, EY Korea, CBRE Vietnam, and Woori Bank Vietnam. At the event, experts shared insights on seven key topics, including investment trends in the Vietnamese market and early-stage business support programs.
The seminar also highlighted important considerations for South Korean SMEs when investing directly in Vietnam, including legal entity establishment procedures and financial solutions appropriate for the Vietnamese context.

The program also included a one-on-one consultation area with experienced professionals, where participating businesses could directly develop specific market entry strategies tailored to their needs. The consultations covered investment environment analysis, financial and accounting advice, legal guidance, and Vietnamese real estate.
A Woori Bank representative noted that South Korea is currently one of the largest investors in Vietnam. Through this seminar, the bank hopes to open up more development opportunities for South Korean businesses in the Vietnamese market.
"Woori Bank will continue to accompany SMEs on their global expansion journey as a partner in finance and investment," the representative said.
Woori Bank has been present in Vietnam since 1997, starting with a branch in Hanoi. In 2017, it officially established a legal entity in Vietnam and currently operates 28 branches and transaction offices nationwide. The bank aims to continuously expand its business activities in the Vietnamese market.
