The high school graduation exam took place on 26-27/6, with 1.14 million students participating under the new curriculum. Students were required to take literature and math, along with two elective subjects chosen from chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economics and law, computer science, technology (agriculture, industry), and foreign languages (7 languages).

Nearly 350,000 students chose to take the physics exam. The exam had 48 versions, each with 28 questions, including 18 multiple-choice questions, 4 true/false questions, and 6 short-answer questions, to be completed in 50 minutes.

Students with questions about their scores can submit a request for review from 16/7 to 25/7. Those wishing to apply to university can register their preferences on the Ministry's system between 16/7 and 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments or additions.

During this period, students can visit VnExpress's University Search page to see fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years by major and university. The system also suggests majors and universities whose benchmark scores last year were close to the student's current scores for each subject combination.

University benchmark scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 pm on 22/8.

Last year, the average physics score was 6.67, with the most common score being 8. 55 students achieved perfect scores, while 56 students failed (scores of 1 or below).
