The Ministry of Education and Training released the 2025 high school graduation exam score distributions on 15/7. The exams took place on 26/6 and 27/6, with over 1.16 million students participating. Nearly 1.14 million students took the exam under the new (2018) general education program, while over 26,700 followed the old (2006) program.
Students under the new program were required to take Literature and Math, along with two elective subjects chosen from: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, Agricultural Technology, Industrial Technology, and Foreign Language (7 languages). Students can look up their 2025 high school graduation exam scores at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net.
After receiving their scores, students have 10 days to submit a request for re-marking if they wish, with the deadline being 25/7. Students will receive their exam results certificate, provisional graduation certificate, and high school transcripts no later than 22/7.
The registration, adjustment, and supplementation period for university admissions is from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments. The university application fee payment period is from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.
Before applying, students can visit VnExpress's University Search page to view the fluctuations in benchmark scores over the years by major, university, or tuition fees. The system also suggests majors and universities with benchmark scores close to the student's scores in each subject combination from last year.
University benchmark scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
