8 universities launch admission score conversion tools

At least 8 universities have developed automatic score conversion tools between different admission methods, eliminating the need for manual calculations by applicants.

As of 27/7, most universities have announced their score conversion formulas between different admission methods, as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. Among them, 8 universities provide automatic score conversion tools.

These universities believe the tools simplify score conversion for applicants, eliminating manual data entry and calculations. This facilitates comparing scores across methods, informing application choices and adjustments.

At the National Economics University, for example, applicants select their score type: SAT, Hanoi National University's High School Assessment (HSA), Ho Chi Minh City National University's Assessment of Proficiency Test (APT), or Hanoi University of Science and Technology's Thinking Assessment Test. After entering their score, the system generates the equivalent high school graduation exam score and scores for other admission methods.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's schedule, applicants can register and modify their choices on the Ministry's system until 5 PM on 27/7. The deadline for online application fee payment is 5 PM on 5/8. Universities will announce admission scores before 5 PM on 22/8.

For further guidance in choosing their programs, applicants can access VnExpress's University Search page. This resource provides admission information, including subject combinations, tuition fees, and historical admission score trends by program and university. The system also suggests programs and universities with admission scores similar to the applicant's current scores for each subject combination.
