Three students from the specialized literature class at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue achieved a remarkable 9.75 points in the national high school graduation examination. This score, announced by the Ministry of Education and Training on 1/7, was attained by only 8 out of 1,2 million candidates nationwide, with no student achieving a perfect 10.
The three high-achieving students are Tran Tue Kha Ai, Tran Dang Tram Anh, and Le Hoang Thanh Ha. The remaining five top scorers included two candidates from Dong Thap, and one each from Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Lam Dong.
Le Thi Phuong Ha, the class's homeroom teacher, expressed pride, noting this is the first time Hue has had three national top scorers in Literature from the same class. Ms. Phuong Ha was not surprised by their success, attributing it to their consistent academic journey and abilities.
According to the teacher: Tran Tue Kha Ai demonstrates flexibility, persistence, and responsibility, even while pursuing an intermediate program at the Academy of Music. Tran Dang Tram Anh is recognized for her strong, coherent thinking, earning a consolation prize in the national excellent student competition for Literature. Le Hoang Thanh Ha, a meticulous class monitor, has achieved first prize at the city level and third prize nationally.
This year, the class's average literature score reached 8.83 points, with many students also excelling in other subjects, scoring above 9. Ms. Ha believes that while students possess inherent talent, their success is rooted in diligence, effort, and a deep love for literature. Her teaching methodology emphasizes self-study, active knowledge mastery, independent thinking, and encouraging students to confidently express their views.
