Le Tuan Hiep, Deputy Director of the Academy of Finance, shared this information on 4/7 at the Aspirations Selection Day event in Hanoi.
Mr. Hiep noted that this marks the first year the Academy of Finance is recruiting students for its main campus in Hanoi and its two new campuses in TP HCM and Hung Yen. The total enrollment target is nearly 8,600 students, an increase of over 2,500 compared to last year. Specifically, the TP HCM campus aims to admit 380 students across four training programs, while the Hung Yen campus will enroll 1,375 students in eight programs.
"This is why we expect the admission score range to be wider," Mr. Hiep stated, without elaborating, as he believes it depends on the number of aspirations registered by candidates.
Last year, the Academy of Finance's admission scores ranged from 21 to 26,6, which is close to the range Mr. Hiep projected for this year. Three majors required 26 points or higher: Marketing, Finance - Banking 2 (specializing in Corporate Finance; Financial Analysis), and Auditing.
Mr. Hiep advised candidates this year to use their exam results and last year's admission scores as a guide. He suggested distributing aspirations across different groups of majors and programs with varying score levels to create a safety margin, avoiding placing all choices in groups with very similar cutoff scores.

This year, the Academy of Finance employs several admission methods: direct admission, combined review of academic transcripts with international foreign language certificates or other outstanding achievements such as national excellent student awards, based on high school graduation exam scores, and high school academic transcripts.
Tuition fees for the Academy of Finance's 2026 intake are projected to be 22-35 million VND per year for standard programs at the Hanoi campus and 22 million VND at the Hung Yen campus.
High-quality programs oriented towards international certifications will cost 50-55 million VND. Joint training programs will charge 75-80 million VND for years of study within Vietnam, with the final year's tuition abroad determined by the partner university in the UK, similar to last year.
