Admission scores for Ho Chi Minh City National University member universities

Admission scores for the University of Information Technology and the University of Economics and Law, members of Ho Chi Minh City National University, range from 23.5 to 29.6, based on high school graduation exam results.

As of the evening of 22/8, two of the eight member universities of Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU-HCM) have announced their admission scores for various admission methods.

At the University of Information Technology (UIT), the lowest admission score based on the high school graduation exam is 24 for the Computer Networks and Data Communications program. The highest is 29.6 for Artificial Intelligence.

Admission scores for many programs at UIT have increased by 0.2 to 2 points, including Artificial Intelligence, Microchip Design, and Data Science. Some programs saw slight decreases of 0.5 to 1 point, such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Software Engineering.

At the University of Economics and Law (UEL), candidates must achieve an average score of at least 8.3 per subject on the high school graduation exam for admission. The program with the highest admission score is International Business (specializing in International Supply Chain Management and Logistics) at 28.08. The lowest is Civil Law (English program) at 23.5.

The average admission scores by field of study are: Economics - 25.61, Business - 26.4, and Law - 25.04. Twenty programs have higher admission scores than last year.

This year, VNU-HCM is admitting approximately 24,500 students. The main admission methods are: direct admission, priority admission according to VNU-HCM regulations; VNU-HCM’s competency assessment scores; and 2025 high school graduation exam results.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) uses a combination of academic transcripts, competency assessment scores, high school graduation exam scores, and other achievements for admission.

Tuition fees for standard programs range from 16.6 to 70 million VND per year. The lowest fees are for Philosophy, Religion, History, and Geography at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH). The highest are for programs at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP).
