Le Thanh Tuyen, Chief of Office for the Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training, shared this information on the afternoon of 3/7.
Specifically, students will take the high school graduation exam at their respective schools. This arrangement facilitates travel, as the locality has a sparse population and schools are far apart. However, students from some continuing education centers, due to smaller numbers, will be grouped to take their exams at other schools.
Invigilators for the Tuyen Quang specialized high school exam site will be selected from three schools. At this site, only the secretary, deputy head responsible for facilities, and some support staff are from the school. Mr. Tuyen affirmed that no teachers from Tuyen Quang specialized high school would serve as invigilators.
According to the high school graduation exam regulations, teachers are not permitted to invigilate at their own school if 12th-grade students from that school are taking the exam that year. The head of the exam site is responsible for assigning invigilators one, two, and exam room supervisors through a lottery system.
The regulations do not prohibit candidates from taking the exam at their own school. However, some localities, such as Ha Noi and TP HCM, "mix" candidates from multiple schools at a single exam site.
"The buzz on social media is something no one desires", Mr. Tuyen stated. "We understand public concern, and within our sector, we are also eager for clarity. However, the authorities are currently verifying the incident."

After the Ministry of Education and Training announced high school graduation exam scores on the morning of 1/7, the results of students from Tuyen Quang specialized high school garnered significant attention.
Specifically, 299 of 328 candidates, with identification numbers ranging from 080163xx to 080166xx (08 being the provincial code), scored 9 math points or higher, with 147 students achieving a perfect score. The average score was 9,58. Considering the ratio of perfect 10 scores to the total number of candidates, Tuyen Quang ranked thu hai nationally, only behind Ha Tinh.
Compared to data from the Ministry and announcements from other prominent specialized high schools, the average math score of 9,58 was the top 1 nationwide.
Responding to VnExpress on the morning of 3/7, a representative from the Tuyen Quang Department of Education and Training affirmed that "the scoring process definitely had no issues."
He explained that this year's cohort of students had been educated in a specialized environment since junior high school. In the national gifted student competition earlier this year, they also achieved 59 awards – a record high, with some students even advancing to the selection round for international competitions.
Furthermore, from the beginning of the academic year, the Department assigned quality targets to schools, leading to a thorough preparation process. The school and Department organized 8-9 mock exams, helping students become familiar with the test format. During these mock exams, even with difficult questions, students' scores remained "very high", while this year's math exam was considered easier than in previous years.
