The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving more than 1.2 million candidates, a record high. Beyond serving as a criterion for graduation recognition, these exam scores are a mandatory condition for university and college admissions, regardless of the specific application method used.
The Ministry of Education and Training announced the exam scores at 8:00 AM on 1/7. Parents and candidates can check their scores on VnExpress at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net for additional data and resources.
After receiving their scores, candidates have five days to request a review if needed, with the deadline set for 5/7. Starting 2/7, candidates can begin registering and adjusting their university and college admission preferences on the Ministry's system, a process that extends until 5:00 PM on 14/7.
Before finalizing their preferences, candidates are encouraged to visit VnExpress's University Lookup page. This resource allows them to view historical fluctuations in admission benchmarks by major, university, and tuition fees, aiding in informed decision-making.
University admission benchmarks and candidate pass/fail results will be officially announced by institutions after 5:00 PM on 9/8.
