Chinese language program boasts highest admission score at University of Mining and Geology

The Chinese language program leads in admission scores at the University of Mining and Geology, with 25.5 points.

On the evening of 22/8, the University of Mining and Geology announced admission scores ranging from 15 to 25.5 based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results. The Chinese Language program had the highest admission score at 25.5. Control Engineering and Automation followed with 25.2 points, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology came in third with 24 points.

Eleven programs with the lowest admission scores, starting from 15, include: Geophysical Engineering; Geology, Geological Engineering; Gemstones and Gem Arts; Urban and Construction Management; Geotechnical Engineering; Water Resources Engineering; Mineral Resources Management; Environmental Engineering; Space Engineering; and Geodesy-Cartography Engineering.

In 2025, the university will admit 4,129 students through five methods: high school graduation exam results; academic transcripts; international certificates combined with academic records; direct admission; Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment results; and Vietnam National University, Hanoi's competency assessment results.

Tuition at the University of Mining and Geology is estimated at 13 million VND per year.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training’s system by 5 PM on 30/8. This is a mandatory step for students who wish to enroll. Many universities may have additional enrollment steps and welcome students in person.
