The electronics and telecommunications engineering program (semiconductor chip design) has the highest minimum admission score, requiring a specific score for applicants using high school transcripts or graduation exam results.

The university notes that the minimum scores are based on a 40-point scale, unlike the 30-point scale used in previous years. Applicants should understand the distinction between minimum admission scores and the actual admission standards to avoid confusion when selecting their preferred programs.

According to the 2025 university admissions regulations, to be officially accepted to CMC university, applicants must register their choices from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7 on the Ministry of Education and Training's online admissions system.

A CMC university representative said that due to changes in the exam format and admission regulations, the university anticipates significant variations in exam scores this year. Consequently, the university may slightly lower its admission standards compared to previous years.

"CMC university is considering the best options to ensure the quality of incoming students while still creating the most favorable conditions for applicants," the representative added.

This year, CMC university continues its laptop program for new students. Applicants will receive a laptop if they meet the following criteria: a total score of at least 31/40 in their first semester of 12th grade or the entire 12th-grade year based on the subject combination used for the 2025 application; participation in the 2025 CMC university competency assessment (CMC-TEST); and listing CMC as their first, second, or third choice on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system.
