The high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving over 1.2 million candidates. Students completed two compulsory exams, literature and mathematics, along with two optional subjects chosen from: chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economics and law education, informatics, technology (agriculture, industry), and foreign languages (7 languages).
This year marked the first time the literature exam was graded using the rubric method. This approach employs a specific description of evaluation criteria and the achievement level for each criterion, ensuring fairness and reducing subjectivity.
Teachers observed that this year's score distribution for mathematics and English was slightly higher than the previous year, while literature scores primarily ranged from 6,5 to 7.
Candidates can submit re-evaluation applications from 1/7 to 5/7. The period for registering university and college aspirations on the Ministry's system extends from 2/7 to 17h on 14/7. University standard scores and candidate pass/fail results will be available after 17h on 9/8.
To view standard score fluctuations over the years by major and university, candidates can access VnExpress's University Lookup page.
