The two perfect 10s in economics and law were achieved by students from Hung Yen and Thanh Hoa.
This year, the average and median scores were 5,02 and 5 respectively, both decreasing by approximately 2,7 points compared to last year. Over 135,000 test-takers scored below 5, while only 22.480 achieved 7 or higher.

Last year, approximately 246,000 test-takers registered for the economics and law subject in the high school graduation exam. Among them, over 1,400 students achieved a perfect 10; the average score was 7,69.
The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6 with over 1,2 million test-takers. Besides being a requirement for graduation recognition, exam scores are mandatory for university and college admissions, regardless of the application method used.

Starting 2/7, test-takers can begin registering and adjusting their university and college admission preferences on the Ministry's system, continuing until 17h on 14/7.
Before registering preferences, test-takers should visit VnExpress's University Search page to view fluctuations in admission scores over the years by major, institution, or tuition fees.
University admission scores and test-takers' pass-fail results will be announced after 17h on 9/8.
