The Department of Education and Training has made available the exam questions and answers for the 6th grade entrance survey at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary-High School. These resources cover various sections: multiple-choice (with codes 617 and 635), English essay, mathematical logic, and reading comprehension and writing.
The 6th grade entrance survey at Tran Dai Nghia concluded on 1/7, attracting over 4,200 candidates. Results are expected to be announced on 7/7.
The entrance exam was structured into two parts: an essay section and a multiple-choice section, with a total duration of 90 minutes. The multiple-choice component consisted of 20 English questions, assessing knowledge in natural sciences, social sciences, and general life skills. The essay section covered English (listening, reading comprehension, writing), mathematical logic, and reading comprehension and writing.
Beyond Tran Dai Nghia, four other secondary schools—Hoa Lu, Binh Tho, Tran Quoc Toan, and Nguyen An Ninh—also conducted 6th grade entrance surveys. These institutions operate under an advanced, internationally integrated model, featuring class sizes not exceeding 35 students, higher teacher quality, and more rigorous graduation requirements compared to standard public schools. Parents pay an additional fee of approximately 1,7 million dong monthly for these programs.
Students who do not secure a place through these entrance surveys are still guaranteed enrollment in public secondary schools, based on their residential area and parental preferences.
