First police academy announces admission scores

The Fire Prevention and Fighting University sets admission scores from 19.75 to 24.23, with the highest score for female candidates in the northern region.

University admission scores for 2025 are being updated.

On the night of 22/8, the Fire Prevention and Fighting University announced its admission scores based on a combination of international English language certificates and high school graduation exam scores, along with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.

The admission scores for the Fire Prevention and Fighting University in 2025 are as follows:

Region/Candidate Admission Score
North
Male 21.1

(If the total admission score is 21.1, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 60/100 on the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.)

Female 24.23
South
Male 19.75
Female 23.62

The Fire Prevention and Fighting University reminds successful candidates to confirm their admission online via the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal before 5 PM on 30/8, and to submit their original high school graduation exam certificates to their pre-selection location before 5/9.

Eight police academies are recruiting approximately 2,350 students this year, but around 23,000 candidates took the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test in July. The average competition ratio is 10 to 1.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting University has a total of 200 openings, with 100 each in the northern and southern regions. Women account for 10% of the openings.
