On the morning of 2/7, the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announced a minimum admission score of 24 for all admission methods and subject combinations in the computer science and information technology, electronic and telecommunications engineering, and data science programs.
For other majors, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 22 points to be considered for admission to the university. This score includes priority points for region and specific categories.
For admission methods using HSA competency assessment exam scores and SAT certificates, the university will publish a conversion table to a 30-point scale, after which the aforementioned minimum scores will apply.
Compared to the general minimum admission scores announced by Vietnam National University, Hanoi last night, UET's minimum scores are 3-5 points higher. In recent years, the university has consistently been among those with the highest minimum admission scores nationwide.

This year, the University of Engineering and Technology plans to admit 4,020 students. All first-year students will study at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi urban area in Hoa Lac. The three admission methods include: direct admission, admission based on high school graduation exam scores, and admission based on HSA exam scores and SAT certificates.
UET's tuition fees for the academic year 2026-2027 range from 38-44 million VND, depending on the major.
Last year, UET's admission cut-off scores ranged from 22,13 to 28,19. Information technology had the highest score, while biotechnology had the lowest.
