Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) will host its graduation ceremony and award bachelor's degrees to more than 3,200 students from its 72nd cohort on 30/6. Among them, 694 students are graduating with excellent honors, accounting for approximately 21.6% of the cohort.
Phung Nguyen Ngoc Anh, 22 years old, from Phu Tho, a student in the high-quality mathematics pedagogy program, is the top graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.98 out of 4. Her scores for specialized subjects were mostly above 9, with many achieving perfect scores.
Four other students from her class are also among the top eight graduates for GPA in this cohort. They include: Bui Minh Nguyet and Bui Dang Quang (both achieving 3.94 out of 4), Vuong Thi Tam (3.95), and Nguyen Thu Huong (3.96).
Additionally, this class boasts 18 students graduating with excellent honors (GPA of 3.6 out of 4 or higher), while the remaining four achieved good honors (GPA from 3.2 to below 3.6).
Ngoc Anh shared that the class's study atmosphere motivates students to strive for high achievements.
"The class has many students from specialized high schools with strong academic performance. Everyone has a constructive spirit, so the classroom is often very lively", Ngoc Anh said.
For many years, the high-quality mathematics pedagogy program has consistently been among the top programs for admission scores at Hanoi National University of Education. This year's graduating class achieved at least 26.25 points in the A00 combination (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) to gain admission. After entering the university, they also had to pass a separate entrance examination for this program, except for those directly admitted with national awards.
According to Ngoc Anh, students in the class often form study groups, supporting and explaining lessons to each other. This approach helps everyone "progress together".
Bui Minh Nguyet also believes this method is effective, complementing individual effort and self-study.
"I learned many things from my classmates", Nguyet said. "I am happy that I and my class achieved high results after four years of studying at Hanoi National University of Education".

Among them, Thai achieved a GPA of 3.95, while the others achieved 3.96.

The annual admission scores for pedagogy programs consistently lead the country, with some programs exceeding 29 points. Specifically, the mathematics pedagogy program often requires over 26 points, reaching 28.27 last year.
