According to a university representative, the program's unique aspects lie in its international career orientation and interdisciplinary approach, combining business, technology, and innovation. Besides foundational e-commerce knowledge, students study modules such as AI in e-commerce, business intelligence (BI), platform business models, digital product management, and cross-border e-commerce strategies.
The program uses English for instruction, integrating technology according to international standards. Students have the opportunity to access international learning resources and develop skills for working in a multinational environment.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan further stated that the program focuses on enhancing practical experience through project-based learning, a co-teaching model involving lecturers, experts, and businesses, along with the participation of international professors.
During their studies, students are mentored by technology experts, business managers, representatives from the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), and the Agency for E-commerce and Digital Economy (IDEA).
Students will participate in practical modules such as cross-border e-commerce operations, international e-commerce platform management, and multi-platform sales channels. Students practice building, optimizing, and managing stores on Amazon, Alibaba, Shopee Global, and other e-commerce platforms.
In the final stage of the course, students complete their graduation project as an innovative project, addressing challenges posed by businesses.
"This dynamic learning environment helps students gain 1-2 years of practical work experience even before graduation," said Mr. Quan.
Offering advice to applicants during the application period, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan suggested that choosing a major should align with long-term career aspirations.
"Choosing a major is not just about selecting a degree for the next 4 years; it's about choosing a launchpad for 20-30 years of future career," he emphasized.
According to him, the SBI program is suitable for students who enjoy business, technology, and aspire to develop in an international environment.
