This year, HMU admitted 1,910 students through two methods: direct admission and high school graduation exam scores. For exam-based admissions, candidates with English language certificates equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher receive a one to two-point bonus. Students with national or international science and technology awards, not used for direct admission, also receive a 0.25 to three-point bonus. For students with multiple awards, only the highest-scoring award is considered.
Tuition fees for HMU for the 2025-2026 academic year range from 16.9 to 62.2 million VND. This represents an increase of 1.9 to 10 million VND compared to last year.
On 22/8, HMU announced its standard admission scores, ranging from 17 to 28.7. Psychology, under subject combination C00 (literature, history, geography), had the highest score. For traditional science-based admissions (B00), general medicine had the highest score at 28.13.
Three programs had a minimum admission score of 17: preventive medicine, social work, and nursing (Thanh Hoa campus).
