Hanoi National University (VNU) announced on the evening of 2/7 a percentile conversion table between HSA (Hanoi Assessment Test) scores and 2026 high school graduation exam scores. This table aims to provide a clear equivalency for university admissions.
VNU stated that this conversion table was developed based on data analysis from both exams, ensuring scientific accuracy and fairness for all candidates.
Specifically, the university provided equivalencies between HSA scores and scores for four common subject combinations: A00 (mathematics, physics, chemistry), B00 (mathematics, chemistry, biology), C00 (literature, history, geography), and D01 (mathematics, literature, English).
For example, a candidate achieving 114 HSA points ranked in the top 1 percentile of highest HSA scorers. Similarly, in the high school graduation exam, candidates who scored 28,23 points for A00, 28,75 points for B00, 27,01 points for C00, and 26,27 points for D01 also belonged to this top percentile. Therefore, these scores are considered equivalent. Similarly, a score of 100 HSA points is deemed equivalent to 26 points for A00. The minimum threshold of 75 HSA points, required by some universities for admission applications, is equivalent to 21,73 points for A00.

This year, Hanoi National University aims to enroll nearly 21,400 undergraduate students across 166 majors and programs. Of these, about 17,000 students will study at Hoa Lac.
Tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year at universities under Hanoi National University range from a minimum of 17,9 million VND to a maximum of approximately 130 million VND.
Yesterday, VNU announced a minimum admission threshold of 19 for its member universities. This score applies to three-subject combinations, without multipliers, and includes regional and priority group bonus points. For HSA aptitude test results, candidates' raw scores on a 150-point scale will be converted to an equivalent score on a 30-point scale.
Candidates can visit VnExpress's exam score page to check their standing against other candidates in the same subject combinations. This can provide further basis for registering and adjusting university admission preferences from tomorrow until 17:00 on 14/7.
University admission scores will be announced after 17:00 on 9/8.
