Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 sets minimum admission scores from 15 to 22

Vietnamese literature, mathematics, history, English language pedagogy, and primary education programs at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 have the highest minimum admission scores, set at 22 out of 30 points, an increase of three points compared to last year.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 announced its minimum admission thresholds, based on National High School Graduation Exam scores, on the afternoon of 10/7.

For teacher training programs, Vietnamese literature, mathematics, history, English language pedagogy, and primary education require a minimum score of 22 out of 30. This marks an increase of three points from last year and is two points higher than the general threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training. Other teacher training programs have a minimum score of 20 points.

Among non-pedagogical programs, English language and Chinese language have the highest minimum scores at 18 out of 30 points, with other programs ranging from 15 to 17 points.

For teacher training programs, excluding physical education, applicants using alternative admission methods not based on national high school graduation exam scores must still meet the stated minimum threshold. Additionally, they need a good 12th-grade academic record, achieve 18 points in three subjects from the graduation exam combination (or use scores from mathematics, Vietnamese literature, and one other subject), and have a national high school graduation exam score of 8,5 or higher.

Specifically for physical education, applicants must meet the minimum score, have a fairly good 12th-grade academic record, achieve a minimum of 16,5 points from three graduation exam subjects, and a minimum graduation exam score of 6,5.
