Hanoi university enrollment dates

Many Hanoi universities welcome new students starting today or in the coming days, with a few starting in early September.

As of 23/8, all universities have announced their admission scores. Prospective students can check their admission results and confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system until 5 PM on 30/8. Otherwise, they will be considered as declining their place.

Many universities require new students to complete an additional enrollment step, either online or in person. The required documents are generally the same, including various forms, a provisional tuition fee payment, and other fees.

This year's enrollment season has seen several records. A total of 344 admission combinations were offered, with nearly 850,000 applicants submitting 7.6 million applications – an average of 9 applications per student, compared to around 5 in previous years.

University admission scores this year range from 15 to 30, based on the high school graduation exam scores. Although only 9 students achieved perfect scores on the high school graduation exam, 6 majors at three universities set their admission scores at 30/30.

After announcing the admission scores and organizing enrollment, universities that haven't filled their quotas can conduct several additional admission rounds until December. Students who were not admitted or did not confirm their enrollment at any university can apply.
