Hanoi University of Industry announced on 14/1 that it will introduce four new majors: Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor Microchips, and Materials Technology. The projected enrollment target for 71 majors and programs is 8,300 students, an increase of about 300 compared to 2025.

The remaining 14 combinations will remain unchanged.

Five admission methods will be maintained. These include: direct admission (one), admission based on international certificates or gifted student awards combined with three-year high school academic records according to the chosen combination (two), admission based on high school graduation exam results (three), admission based on the competency assessment exam results from Vietnam National University, Hanoi (four), and admission based on the thinking assessment exam results from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (five).

The eligibility requirement for admission methods two, four, and five is a total academic record score of 7 or higher for the subjects within the chosen combination.
