Under the theme "Ready to excel, reach further with IELTS", the IELTS Fair 2026 offers a series of workshops to improve speaking and writing skills with British Council experts. Seminars will feature representatives from high schools, universities, and study abroad consultants. Participants will gain insights into the value of IELTS in developing English proficiency, preparing for academic pursuits, and seizing global career opportunities.

As part of the IELTS Fair 2026, the British Council offers several benefits for candidates who register for the IELTS test directly at the event. The IELTS Fair is an event organized by the British Council, the United Kingdom's international organization for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council is also a co-owner of the IELTS test and was the first examination body to bring this test to Vietnam in 1994. The event was first held in Vietnam in 2018, attracting many students, parents, and young people. In 2024, the IELTS Fair drew over 1,200 attendees in Hanoi and TP HCM, with the participation of more than 35 partners, including language centers, study abroad consultation organizations, and universities.

Currently, IELTS is one of the most widely recognized English proficiency tests globally, trusted by over 12,500 organizations in more than 140 countries. Beyond the score, the test's value lies in the process of developing English language skills for academic and international work environments. By fostering balanced development across the four skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing – IELTS helps learners build an academic English foundation to achieve significant educational and career milestones in an integrated global context.

With over 30 years of supporting English language standards in Vietnam, the British Council continues its role in helping learners understand the test correctly, access official preparation materials, and leverage the value of the IELTS certificate. The organization's support activities also extend to many localities through a series of workshops and free mock tests, such as IELTS Day and IELTS Hackathon, held in Bien Hoa, Vung Tau, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Hue, Vinh (Nghe An), Quang Ninh, and other provinces and cities.
