Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) released its 2026 admission score forecasts for all majors on 3/7. These predictions cover various admission methods: talent-based admissions (based on international certificates and on profile review combined with interviews), the thinking skills assessment (TSA) exam, and the 2026 national high school graduation exam scores.
The university based its projections on common score distributions and admissions data from previous years. For admissions based on exam scores, the data science and artificial intelligence (advanced program) major is expected to have the highest entry requirements. This program anticipates scores above 28,5 from the high school graduation exam and over 75 out of 100 points on the TSA.
A number of other programs are projected to require admission scores between 27,5 and 28,5. These include: computer science, computer engineering, digital space security, information technology (Global ICT), control and automation (standard and advanced programs), and microelectronics and nanotechnology.
Conversely, some majors may have admission thresholds between 20 and 22 points. These include: textile engineering, bioengineering, food technology, and pharmaceutical chemistry and cosmetics.
Last year, the data science and artificial intelligence (advanced program) major recorded the highest admission score at 29,39. The lowest score for entry into the university was 19, for the business administration program offered in collaboration with Troy University in the United States.
For other admission methods, predicted scores are presented on a 100-point scale.
HUST’s 2026 admission score forecasts for all majors are as follows:
