Hanoi University (HANU) announced its admission benchmark on 5/7. The calculation rule dictates that the foreign language score is multiplied by two. The mathematics or literature score is also multiplied by two, depending on the specific major. The total score for the three national high school graduation exam subjects, after being weighted, is capped at 50, then converted to a 40-point scale.
In cases where multiple candidates at the bottom of the list have the same total admission score and identical preferences, the university applies additional criteria. These criteria are prioritized in the following order: foreign language score, then literature or mathematics score, depending on the major.
This year, HANU is recruiting 3,705 students for 30 training programs. The university utilizes three admission methods: direct admission and priority admission, combined admission according to university regulations, and admission based on the results of the 2026 national high school graduation exam.
