On the afternoon of 22/8, HCMULAW (Ho Chi Minh City University of Law) announced its official admission scores for 2025.

The lowest score was 18.12 for business administration (A01 subject combination). The highest score was 25.65 for international trade law (X78 subject combination).

Most programs saw a decrease of one to over 4 points. The most significant drops were for business administration (-4.44 points) and international trade law (A01 subject combination - math, physics, and English), with a decrease of 4.35-4.44 points.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system by 5 PM on 30/8. Failure to do so will be considered a refusal of admission.

This year, HCMULAW is admitting 3,350 students, about 150 more than last year, through various methods: Direct admission and priority admission; High school graduation exam scores; Combined high school transcripts and international certificates; High school transcripts from 149 priority high schools; and V-SAT scores.

Tuition fees for the 2025 academic year at HCMULAW are approximately 40-47 million VND.

Two methods, high school transcripts from 149 priority high schools and combined high school transcripts and international certificates, will be converted to equivalent high school graduation exam scores using the formula: y = x - k.

In this formula, y represents the converted score, x is the average score of three subjects over six high school semesters, and k represents the difference between transcript scores and high school graduation exam scores.

The university determines that transcript scores are 2-4.5 points higher than high school graduation exam scores, depending on the subject combination.
