High school graduation exam 2025: Chemistry scores released

The Ministry of Education and Training released the chemistry scores for nearly 247,000 high school graduation exam takers on the afternoon of 15/7.

Last year, the average chemistry score for over 346,000 exam takers was 6.68. The most frequent score was 7.75. Nearly 55,000 students (15.8%) scored below average.

Students have 10 days to submit appeals if they wish, with a deadline of 25/7.

Finding the right university and major

This year's high school graduation exam took place on 26-27/6, with over 1.14 million participants. First-time test takers under the 2018 general education program were required to take four exams, including mandatory math and literature. They also chose two subjects studied at school: chemistry, physics, biology, geography, history, economics and law, computer science, technology, or a foreign language.

Nearly 247,000 students chose chemistry this year.

The Ministry of Education and Training stated that the registration, adjustment, and supplementation period for university admission applications is from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments. Students can pay university application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

University admission scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
