The high school graduation exam took place on 26/6 and 27/6 with over 1.16 million students participating. Nearly 1.14 million students took the exam under the new (2018) general education program, while over 26,700 followed the older (2006) program.
Students under the new program took two compulsory subjects: literature and math, along with two elective subjects chosen from: chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economic and law education, IT, agricultural technology, industrial technology, and foreign languages (7 languages). Students can check their 2025 high school graduation exam scores at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net.
Students have 10 days after receiving their scores to submit a request for re-marking, with the deadline being 25/7. Students will receive their official score certificates, provisional graduation certificates, and high school transcripts no later than 22/7.
The registration period for university admissions, including adjustments and additions, runs from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7, with no limit on the number of changes. The online payment deadline for application fees is from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.
Before applying, students can visit VnExpress's university search page to review the fluctuation of benchmark scores over the years by major, university, and tuition fees. The system also suggests majors and universities whose benchmark scores last year were close to the students' current scores for each subject combination.
University benchmark scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
