Last year, the average history score for over 706,000 high school graduation exam takers was 6.57. The most frequent score was 6.75. More than 92,000 students (13%) scored below average. Over 2,100 students achieved a perfect score of 10.

Over 1.16 million students participated in the high school graduation exams on 26/6 and 27/6. The exam catered to students following both the 2018 and 2006 general education programs, with varying numbers of subjects and different exam papers. Nearly 1.14 million students took the exam under the newer 2018 program.
All students were required to take math and literature. They also chose two subjects from: chemistry, physics, biology, geography, history, economics and law, computer science, technology, and a foreign language (English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, or Korean).
Almost 50% of the over 1.1 million students chose the history exam, which consisted of 28 multiple-choice and true/false questions to be completed in 50 minutes.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the registration, adjustment, and supplementation period for university admissions will be open from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments. Students can submit university application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.
University admission scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
