The average score for informatics was 6.78. Out of over 7,600 students who took the exam, 60 achieved a perfect 10. This was the first time informatics was included in the high school graduation exam. Ninh Binh province had the highest average score, but only 60 students from that province participated in the exam.
The high school graduation exam took place on 26/6 and 27/6, with over 1.16 million students participating. Nearly 1.14 million students took the exam under the new national curriculum (2018), while over 26,700 followed the old curriculum (2006).
Students under the new curriculum were required to take literature and math, along with two elective subjects chosen from: chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economic and legal education, informatics, agricultural technology, industrial technology, and foreign languages (7 languages). Students can access their 2025 high school graduation exam scores at: https://diemthi.vnexpress.net.
After receiving their scores, students have 10 days to submit an appeal if they wish, with the deadline being 25/7. Students will receive their official score reports, provisional graduation certificates, and high school transcripts no later than 22/7.
The registration, adjustment, and supplementation period for university admissions is from 16/7 to 5 PM on 28/7, with no limit on the number of adjustments. Candidates can pay the application fee online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.
Before applying, students can visit the VnExpress University Search page to view the changes in admission scores over the years by major, university, or tuition fees. The system also suggests majors and universities with admission scores similar to the student's scores in each subject combination from the previous year.
University admission scores for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
