Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance lowers admission floor

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) is accepting applications with scores from 15, a decrease of 1-4 points compared to last year.

On 17/6, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance announced its admission floor for various application methods. This is the minimum score required for applicants.

For high school diploma-based applications, a minimum score of 15 is required based on the combined score of three subjects, a decrease of 1-4 points compared to last year. For academic record-based applications, the floor is 18, which represents the average score of three subjects in 12th grade.

For the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam and V-SAT, the minimum scores are 600/1,200 and 225/450, respectively.

University admission score predictions for 2025

In 2025, UEF aims to enroll over 5,300 students across 12 subject combinations. Economics, law, and technology programs require math and literature, while language and social science programs require literature and English. Compared to previous years, the university has removed combinations A00 (math, physics, chemistry) and A01 (math, physics, English).

UEF's tuition for 2025 is estimated at 80 million VND for four semesters.

List of UEF majors, quotas, and subject combinations

Last year, the admission score for high school graduation exam-based applications at UEF ranged from 16-21/30, with international relations having the highest requirement.

They can then submit application fees online from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8.

Students can visit VnExpress's University Lookup page to view the changes in admission scores over the years by major and university. The system also suggests majors and universities with admission scores close to the students' scores for each subject combination last year.

University admission scores will be announced before 5 PM on 22/8.
