Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade announces four minimum admission score thresholds

The lowest minimum admission score at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is 16, based on high school graduation exam results.

On the morning of 10/7, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) announced its minimum admission scores across four application methods for the upcoming academic year.

For candidates applying with high school graduation exam scores, a minimum of 16 points in a three-subject combination is required for registration. However, Law and Economic Law majors have a higher threshold of 20 points. Those applying based on academic transcripts must achieve 20 points or higher across all majors.

Candidates utilizing the competency assessment exam organized by National University Ho Chi Minh City need a minimum score of 600 out of 1200. For Law and Economic Law programs, the required score is 720.

For the method combining results from the specialized competency assessment exam administered by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, HUIT has set a minimum score of 20 out of 30 for all majors.

Tuition fees for bachelor's programs at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade range from 110-116 million VND for the entire course. For engineer degree programs, the total fee is 139-144 million VND.

Last year, the cut-off scores based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results ranged from 17-24.5. For academic transcripts, candidates needed 20-26.5 points. In the National University Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment exam method, the passing scores were 607-800 out of 1200. Meanwhile, cut-off scores for the specialized competency assessment exam by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education ranged from 20.25 to 26.25.
