Hue University Admission Scores Announced

English and Chinese language education programs boast the highest admission scores at Hue University, both at 30.

On the afternoon of 22/8, Hue University released its admission scores for the 2025-2026 academic year. Based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results, scores ranged from 15 to 30. The highest scores were for the English and Chinese Language Education programs, both at 30. The English Language Education program had additional criteria: a minimum foreign language score of 9.5 and a literature score of at least 8.5. For the Chinese Language Education program, the foreign language score requirement was 10.

Compared to last year, both programs saw an increase of approximately 2.9-3.5 points.

Seven programs had admission scores of 27 or higher: French Language Education, Primary Education, Primary Education (taught in English), Political Education, History Education, Geography Education, and History-Geography Education.

Conversely, several programs at Hue University, specifically at the University of Economics, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, the International School, and the Hue University branch in Quang Tri, had an admission score of 15.

Tuition fees for over 130 universities

The admission scores for the 13 schools, faculties, and branches under Hue University for the 2025-2026 academic year are as follows:

This year, the university is admitting 15,300 students, an increase of over 6,000 compared to last year. Admission methods include: Direct admission and priority admission; High school graduation exam scores; Academic transcripts; Competency assessment scores from Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University; and Combined evaluation.

Some faculties and schools have announced tuition fees, ranging from 13.2 to 61.1 million VND per year.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system by 5 PM on 30/8. This is a mandatory step for those who wish to enroll. Some universities may have additional enrollment procedures and welcome students in person.

Last year, the admission scores based on the high school graduation exam results for Hue University's programs ranged from 15 to 28.3, with History Education having the highest score.
