On 21/7, International University (IU) announced its minimum entry requirements, based on both the VNU-HCM’s competency assessment test and the 2025 national high school graduation exam.
Applicants need a total score between 17 and 24 across three subjects to be eligible for IU’s degree programs. For programs in partnership with international universities, the minimum score is lower, ranging from 15 to 20.
Specifically for the English Language program, IU calculates the minimum score on a 40-point scale, with the English subject score doubled. For Business - Management - Economics programs, the minimum score is calculated on a 35-point scale, with the English subject score multiplied by 1.5.
For applicants using the VNU-HCM competency assessment test, IU requires a score of 600-700 out of 1,200.

This year, IU aims to enroll 2,000 students through various admission methods: direct admission, high school graduation exam scores, and VNU-HCM’s competency assessment test results.
Direct admission applies to students with national or international awards, and those with excellent academic performance from 149 designated high schools prioritized by VNU-HCM.
Last year, IU's admission scores based on the high school graduation exam ranged from 18 to 24 out of 30.
