Initiated by An Khai Hung Investment Joint Stock Company, "IKI Co-Creation - Co-creating connected living spaces" draws inspiration from the "IKI Village" project organized by Flamingo Digital Media Corporation.
The competition targets university students nationwide and young individuals under 28 years old interested in fields such as: architectural design, interior design, ui/ux design, multimedia communication, and marketing.

Building on the creative journey of "IKI Village", the competition embraces a "learning by doing" philosophy, encouraging young participants to move beyond academic exercises to solve real-world problems. Rather than seeking abstract topics, the organizing committee hopes contestants will observe their own homes to identify "touch points" needing change, thereby proposing practical solutions for daily life.
The competition features three categories, each reflecting a perspective on living spaces: "IKI Landscape Design" encourages ideas to reintroduce nature into living environments through landscape and green space design. "IKI Family Rituals" seeks initiatives that foster intergenerational connection through family activities and experiences. Meanwhile, "IKI Living OS" focuses on technological solutions, applications, or smart systems that enhance quality of life and increase connection among members, rather than creating distance.

To support contestants, the organizing committee is conducting a series of seminars at 6 major universities, with over 50 experts serving as judges and mentors. Through these sessions, students are guided on how to observe daily life and identify problems before developing solutions, rather than presenting preconceived ideas.
"This competition is a practical, interesting topic that can be directly applied to ongoing projects. It is a beneficial and meaningful platform because students can collaboratively co-create solutions for the lack of family connection", Ms. Pham Lan Khanh, Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized at the competition's launch event.
The organizing committee anticipates the competition will offer young people an opportunity to tackle practical challenges and showcase their creative thinking and problem-solving abilities through applicable ideas.
